Preparing for the District Pinewood Derby?

Download rules for the derby here.  Packs are encouraged to follow the District rules in their Pack races so any winning racer will qualify for the District Derby held in March.  More information on that race's times and location to come!

This year's rules are similar to last year; all additions or clarifications are highlighted.

National has released a new Advancement Guidelines Booklet.  Along with the new guidelines is also a new Eagle Leadership Project Workbook.  The Project Workbook will be required as of Jan 1, 2012.  Eagle Scouts currently working in the old book can continue to do so and finish up with that workbook.  Eagle Candidates that are planning a project now, can use either book, but they are encouraged to use the new book since it willl be mandatory as of Jan 1, 2012.  Both documents are available on the Wood District Website.
