The American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) program is an outdoor oriented first aid training program expanding on the skills presented for the Scouting community.
This is a 16-hour first aid course for backcountry situations when EMS is not readily available.

In 2010 the Erie Shores Council is considering a brand new program opportunity for its Cub Scout Pinewood Derby Racers and their adult leaders and parents. The Dr. Pepper / Snapple bottling group along with the Toledo Speedway has offered many great resources our volunteers could take advantage of for a fun early spring Pinewood Derby event during the 2010 year after the district races.
